Robert Schilling moved to Vail with his mother and 3 of his 5 siblings in 1974. He graduated from Battle Mountain High School in 1980 and then pursued a B.S. in Marketing and eventually earned a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Schilling is not only passionate about his real estate career but about the Vail Valley in general. When not practicing real estate he spends much of his time volunteering on Vail Mountain as a Community Guest Services host, he also volunteers with the Ford Amphitheater and the Vilar Center. Even more, he gives much of his time to the local Rotary Club where he heads up the Community Service Committee.
Schilling’s real joy comes from a gifting program he started when he became a Realtor. He has made a commitment to giving back a portion of his earnings to a local nonprofit organization of his buyer’s or seller’s choice. He welcomes the opportunity to engage his clients in the nonprofit arena and show them how they really do need all of our support. He feels our community truly benefits from the services we receive from our many charities. When Robert is not volunteering or working you can find him skiing, kayaking or climbing the mountains surrounding our mountain paradise.

Frank, the managing Broker and President of Vail Valley Real Estate Brokers, Inc., has 26 years of experience in Vail real estate. He is a graduate of the University of Denver with majors in advertising and marketing management. He also holds the Graduate Realtors Institute designation from the National Association of Realtors. Frank is a Director of the Vail Board of Realtors and a past president of that organization. He was honored as the Realtor of the Year in 1997 and 2002. Frank has served on the Town of Vail's Design Review Board and presently serves as a committee member for Habitat for Humanity.

Carolyn and her husband Duane move to the Vail Valley in 1976 along with their children--triplets--two girls and a boy. They found Vail to be a great community for raising a family as well as furthering careers. Duane is an architect, and is in the business of designing custom homes and Carolyn has been selling real estate on Bridge Street for the past 10 years. Ellen and Frank founded Vail Valley Real Estate Brokers, Inc. in 1985. Ellen had worked in the real estate and vacation rental field since moving to Vail from Detroit in 1976. By establishing and managing her own company, she believed she could provide a higher level of service to her customers. Ellen's emphasis has always been to provide a quality experience for both homeowners, guests at one of our rental properties, and purchasers of real estate. Ellen is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and has a master's degree in library science.
